Who we are
Sylvana Proaño
Sylvana Proaño moved to the United States from Ecuador thirty years ago. Moving to the US was a lifelong dream of hers, even though it meant leaving her family behind. When she had the opportunity to move to The Berkshires, she didn't think twice, packed her bags, and started her new journey full of determination, passion, and an eagerness to learn the language. Sylvana's heart has always been in the right place and she is always ready to help anyone in need. For the last ten years, she has been working for local agencies doing Social work, which is her passion. She also sits on the Board of Berkshire Pulse. Sylvana is passionate about empowering people, and her commitment to Casa Multicultural continues to grow. Sylvana has two daughters with her husband of over twenty-five years, Robert. Sylvana loves walks in nature with her dog, Ricky, especially during the fall and early winter.
